Common faults

Problems we see in the garage, and how we fix them.

Models we service

We service every model from this brand. Just mention yours on the booking form.

  1. Fault 01

    Creaking folding mechanism

A creak is often the first sign of a loose folding screw. A quick adjustment saves a part that would otherwise break further down the line.

  2. Fault 02

    Charging and battery

If it won’t charge or drains fast, we measure the charger, port, BMS and cells.

  3. Fault 03

    Tyres and brakes

Riding at low pressure is the most common cause of punctures; a slack brake cable is the most common cause of long braking distances.

FAQ

Common questions about YUKI

01 My Yuki scooter won’t charge.
It could be a faulty charger, charge port or BMS. We measure them all during free diagnostics.
02 Are spare parts available for Yuki?
We can usually source common parts; for model-specific parts, we’ll tell you the lead time after diagnosis.
03 How should I store my scooter over winter?
Store the battery at around half charge in a dry place that doesn’t drop below 0 °C. Don’t charge it in the cold; bring the scooter up to room temperature first.
04 Do you charge for diagnostics?
No, diagnostics are free. They cover checking your scooter and pinpointing the problem; no repairs are carried out. We send you a clear quote, and repairs only start if you approve it.
05 How does mail-in service work?
Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll send you a shipping code. Pack up your scooter and send it in; when it arrives we do the diagnostics free of charge and send you our quote. Once you approve, we repair it, test it and ship it back to you.
