Inmotion repair & service

Inmotion makes both scooters and electric unicycles. On the scooter side, that means brake, tyre and battery work; on the unicycle side, motors, tyres and suspension. Suspension unicycles from Kingsong and Begode have passed through the garage too: motor replacements, tyre and inner tube changes, suspension setup.

  1. Fault 01

    Unicycle tyre replacement

Changing a tyre on a unicycle means taking apart most of the shell and the motor, and the cables and sensors are delicate. We strip it down in the right order and put it back together without compromising the sealing.

  2. Fault 02

    Unicycle suspension setup

On suspension unicycles, the right preload and damping have a direct effect on riding safety. We set it up for your weight and riding style.

  3. Fault 03

    Scooter brake and tyre maintenance

On powerful scooters like the RS and Climber, brakes and tyres wear fast. Don’t skip the pad, disc and tyre checks at service intervals.

  4. Fault 04

    Battery and charging problems

Lost range or a scooter that won’t charge can come down to the cells, the BMS or the charge port. We measure to tell them apart and replace the part that needs it.

FAQ

Common questions about INMOTION

01 Do you service Inmotion unicycles?
Yes. On electric unicycles we do motor replacements, tyre and inner tube changes, suspension setup and full services.
02 Why is a unicycle tyre change expensive and slow?
To change the tyre, most of the wheel has to be taken apart, so there’s more labour than on a scooter. After diagnosis we give you a firm time and price.
03 My Inmotion scooter’s range has dropped. What should I do?
Lower range in cold weather is normal; let the battery warm up before you charge it. If the drop continues in warm weather too, bring it in for a cell test.
04 Do you charge for diagnostics?
No, diagnostics are free. They cover checking your scooter and pinpointing the problem; no repairs are carried out. We send you a clear quote, and repairs only start if you approve it.
05 How does mail-in service work?
Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll send you a shipping code. Pack up your scooter and send it in; when it arrives we do the diagnostics free of charge and send you our quote. Once you approve, we repair it, test it and ship it back to you.
