  1. Fault 01

    Punctured inner tube

Models with 8.5-inch inner tubes are very prone to snakebite flats at low pressure. We fix it with a tyre change, the correct pressure and, if you like, tyre sealant.

  2. Fault 02

    Folding mechanism play and creaking

A creaking or knocking handlebar is a sign of a loose screw in the folding latch. Neglect it and the play gets worse; an early adjustment extends the part’s life.

  3. Fault 03

    Error codes on the display

A flashing spanner icon and error codes (e.g. 14 throttle, 15 brake, 18 motor Hall sensor, 21 BMS communication) point you towards the fault. We read the code, test the part concerned and find the real cause.

  4. Fault 04

    Brake cable and disc adjustment

The rear disc brake starts to rub or weaken over time. With the right cable tension, caliper adjustment and new pads, we bring your brakes back to day-one condition.

  5. Fault 05

    Battery capacity loss

Range halving, or cutting out on hills, points to ageing cells. After a cell test, we offer repair or reconditioning options.

FAQ

Common questions about XIAOMI

01 There’s an error code on my Xiaomi scooter’s display. What should I do?
Note the code down and bring the scooter in without forcing it. For example, 14 indicates a throttle fault, 15 a brake fault, 18 a motor Hall sensor fault and 21 a BMS communication fault. We diagnose the fault free of charge and tell you the cause and the fix.
02 Should I have solid (puncture-proof) tyres fitted to my Xiaomi?
Solid tyres can’t go flat, but they pass every jolt straight into the frame; screws work loose and the electronics suffer. For most riders, a quality pneumatic tyre with sealant is the smarter choice.
03 Can the speed limit on a Xiaomi scooter be removed?
The legal limit on public roads is 25 km/h; removing the speed limit only makes sense for closed-track and private-land use. On a scooter that’s going out on the road, our priority is keeping the brakes, tyres and handlebar in perfect shape.
04 Do you charge for diagnostics?
No, diagnostics are free. They cover checking your scooter and pinpointing the problem; no repairs are carried out. We send you a clear quote, and repairs only start if you approve it.
05 How does mail-in service work?
Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll send you a shipping code. Pack up your scooter and send it in; when it arrives we do the diagnostics free of charge and send you our quote. Once you approve, we repair it, test it and ship it back to you.
