Fault 01
Handlebar stem and folding clamp play
The folding handlebar works loose over time; you’ll feel the bars move, especially under hard acceleration and heavy braking. We adjust the clamp, replace worn parts and add extra bracing if needed.

Fault 02
Hall sensor and motor wiring harness
The cable from the rear motor tires over time from folding and swingarm movement. A motor that stutters, or a scooter that drops to one motor, is the classic symptom. On a VSETT 9+ we renewed the rear-motor wiring harness and Hall sensor.

Fault 03
LED and lighting faults
Body LEDs, brake lights or headlights cutting in and out usually come down to a connector or a cable. We find the faulty line, repair it and restore the sealing.

Moisture-related electrical faults
Riding on wet roads and pressure washing lead to oxidised connectors. We clean the controller and connectors, apply protection and seal off the points where water gets in.

When the brakes need an upgrade
On powerful models, the stock brakes can fall short under heavy use. We’ve done a Magura CMe-5 conversion on a Super72; we’ll choose the right upgrade for your model together.

Fault 06
Battery capacity loss
A noticeable drop in range, or charge falling fast, points to cell imbalance or ageing. After a cell test, we lay out the options: repair or a complete replacement.

Write it in your service log: a scooter that sticks to these intervals won’t leave you stranded.
Intervals may need to be shorter depending on how hard it’s used, rider weight and road conditions.
