Storm Garage Marine

From garage to sea.

The garage that puts the volts into Kadıköy’s scooters is now on the water. The ORKOZ jetboard and Orca sea scooters — with setup, seasonal service and marine electrics all in the same hands.

01

Umbrella brand

Same garage. New ground.

Storm Garage Marine is the garage’s marine arm. We’re taking what we learned on asphalt onto the water: high-voltage batteries, sealing, proper setup and honest maintenance.

The garage’s own footage: a Fighter Supreme Ultra on the seafront. The water was always there.
  1. 01

    Sales

The ORKOZ jetboard and Orca sea scooters, by pre-order.

  2. 02

    Setup

From box to water: inspection, first charge, remote pairing and a riding briefing.

  3. 03

    Maintenance

Pre- and post-season checks, battery health, connector and seal maintenance.

The same voltage family

A 72 V 60 Ah battery beats at the heart of the 7260R; the ORKOZ 12C runs on 72 V 58 Ah. The voltage class we open up and close again every day in the garage, now inside a carbon hull.

02

Fleet

Three machines. One garage.

A jetboard you ride standing up, or a sea scooter you lie on and throttle. All on pre-order, all set up and serviced at Storm Garage.

Where to ride

Wherever there’s water, there’s a machine.

From a yacht’s swim platform to snorkelling coves: sea scooters and jetboards come into their own outside the buoy line, in permitted areas.

  1. 36.75°N 28.94°E

    01

    Yacht and gulet toy

    Göcek · Bodrum

The easiest water toy for charter guests. The Orcas weigh 12–18 kg (preliminary): easy to launch from the swim platform, and they take up little space on board.

  2. 36.20°N 29.64°E

    02

    Snorkelling and cove trips

    Kaş · Bodrum

In the coves of Kaş or the clear water off Bodrum: a positively buoyant sea scooter pulls you along while you watch the seabed.

  3. 36.62°N 29.12°E

    03

    Offshore, in permitted areas

    Fethiye · Aegean coast

Beyond the beach’s buoy line, in areas permitted by the harbour master’s office: this is where 12 kW of jet propulsion really makes sense.

  4. 40.99°N 29.04°E

    04

Istanbul and the Sea of Marmara

    Kadıköy · service

Let’s be honest: with its shipping traffic and currents, the Bosphorus itself is no place to ride. Let’s find permitted areas together; setup and maintenance happen in Kadıköy.

Coming soon

Try before you buy.

A test-ride and rental programme is in the works. For anyone who wants to get in the water before buying: in permitted course areas, with the required permits and with an instructor.

Test ride
A short trial before you pre-order
Rental
By the day or the weekend — programme to be announced
Safety
Life jacket and wrist kill-switch leash mandatory
Place and date
To be announced — people on the list hear first

Commercial rental depends on permits from the provincial governor’s office and on designated course areas; the programme will start once these permits are in place.

Marine electrics

Salt water forgives nothing.

High voltage and salt water live in the same hull. Whatever we do to scooter batteries in the garage, we do to marine machines too: we measure, we clean, we log.

  • Pre-delivery setup

Out-of-the-box inspection, first charge, remote pairing and a first-ride briefing.

  • Battery health

Cell balance and capacity measurement — the work we do on scooter batteries every day.

  • Connectors and seals

Cleaning off salt crystals and corrosion, checking seals and sealing, connection torques.

  • Winter storage

Rinse with fresh water, dry in the shade, store the battery at about half charge and top it up periodically.

An IP rating isn’t a wetsuit.

We tell scooter owners this every day too: water resistance isn’t a promise, it’s a maintenance schedule.

Safety and regulations

The buoy line is sacred.

Türkiye has no specific regulation that names jetboards or sea scooters; the general port rules apply. Here’s a summary — what’s binding is the current rule of the harbour master’s office wherever you are.

0 m Up to 200 m · Buoy line Buoyed from 1 April to 15 November
  1. 01

    Keep out of swimming zones

In front of beaches, hotels and residential complexes, buoyed areas up to 200 m from shore are closed to watercraft.

  2. 02

Stay clear of channels and anchorages

Harbour entrance channels, breakwater mouths, berthing areas and anchorages are closed to water sports.

  3. 03

    Life jacket, wrist leash

Wear a life jacket on every ride and attach the kill-switch leash to your wrist. Don’t head out at night or alone.

  4. 04

    Follow local rules

The harbour master’s office can change area boundaries and speed limits. Check the current port and coastal regulations before you ride.

Frequently asked

Before you get in the water.

01 What is Storm Garage Marine?
Storm Garage’s marine arm. Sales, pre-delivery setup and seasonal maintenance of the ORKOZ jetboard and Orca sea scooters all happen at our garage in Kadıköy.
02 When are the products arriving, and what do they cost?
All three products are on pre-order. Price and arrival date will be finalised once the supplier confirms; people on the waitlist will hear from us first.
03 Do I need a licence for a jetboard or sea scooter?
The rules depend on the craft’s type, size and motor power. Before delivery, we go through the current regulations and where you can ride with you; the local harbour master’s rules always take precedence.
04 Where can I ride?
Buoyed swimming zones (up to 200 m from shore) are closed to watercraft; harbour entrance channels, berthing areas and anchorages are also closed to water sports. Check with the local harbour master’s office before you ride.
05 Why is the technical data “preliminary”?
The technical data for our marine products was compiled from the manufacturer’s information for the same platform and is awaiting supplier confirmation. We’ll share the final figures before you order.
06 Can I try before I buy?
The Storm Garage Open Water test-ride and rental programme is in the works. Join the waitlist and pick “test ride” — you’ll be the first to know when the schedule opens.
07 How should I look after marine products after use?
After every use, rinse with fresh water, dry in the shade, and if the battery will be sitting for a long time, store it at around half charge. Salt water quickly corrodes connectors and screws; have a general check-up at the start and end of the season.
